Moving through Touch: free workshop to connect with your baby

Make a Move is very excited to be running a new workshop for parents and their babies, Moving through Touch.

This free workshop in Bath on Tuesday 7 November enables parents to connect with their babies using movement & touch, guided by Dance Movement Psychotherapist Sarah Haddow.

There are lots of groups around that run for parents and their babies, however this is something different for mums and dads to experience. In this workshop you will have time to try new and different ways to move with your little one; a time to be playful & follow the movement of your baby.

Sarah Haddow specialises in infant development and working closely with parents to increase attuned behaviour and closeness, through the use of playful movement, touch and contact improvisation.

Sarah adds a creative and fun element to all her work that brings everyone that joins her to a place of play. Sarah is a qualified and experienced Dance Movement Psychotherapist, and assistant CEO of movement and wellbeing charity Make a Move.

Sarah Haddow looking at the camera, smilingPlay is something we all need, whatever our age, and what better way to find this is there than to follow the innocent minds of our little ones? Touch is used to increase our relationship with our child and contact improvisation challenges our abilities to trust one another.

If you are curious or would like to give it a go, why not come along? This is a free workshop, thanks to a great collaboration with Well Bath and the wellbeing college.”
