New Year 2017

Happy New Year friends!

We wish you love and luck and joy and connection this new year.

Michelle and Sarah, CEO and Assistant CEO respectively, took a moment to ponder on what 2017 holds for Make a Move.

Sarah, welcoming 2017

“Its exciting to be back for another year!

This term I am excited about working with our new dance practitioner Matt Cleary, beginning our work with KS1, and being a part of the Dance Umbrella preparations.

I am also looking forward to supporting our new mums with post-natal depression who will be joining us for course three.

It was a great Christmas break for Make A Move, however I am very pleased and excited to begin the new year.”

Michelle, ready to go!

“Whooo HOo…….. and a Ho Ho Ho!

We’re beginning the year with bright visions for Make a Move, and working hard to ensure we reach and work with even more people to improve their wellbeing and mental health.

We’ve had an extremely enthusiastic and talented Matt Cleary join our team this year. He will working in schools on performance work, PE lessons and generally sharing the magic of dance throughout BANES. He is lush and a really blooming good dancer! His first afternoon was Thursday 5th January, at Marksbury primary school.

We know teachers are out there frantically choosing music and practising their best moves for this years Dance Umbrella. We’re looking forward to working with you all.”

Welcome to the team, Matt 🙂
